Shailendrra Guptaa

Shailendrra is the VP Information Technology for Waukesha Electric Systems in Waukesha, WI, a division of SPX Corporation.  He is responsible for all aspects of IT as part of the leadership team reporting directly to the President of the business. Specifically he is responsible to develop and establish an IT organization, strategy, ERP CoC, operations, and others.

Previously he was a senior technology Principal within The CTO Group. He was responsible for delivering added value strategic planning and technology services to our manufacturing, retail and financial services clients.

Mr. Guptaa has served the IT community for over 20 years and has been responsible for overseeing very large; multi-million dollar projects and has significant experience in strategic planning, quality, program and portfolio management. Shailendrra leverages his leadership and process management background to deliver superior service to his customers. He is a strong team member, with significant executive management experience who complements his deep understanding in these areas with executive level strategy and business acumen.

Some of Mr. Guptaa’s clients included AL INMA Bank, Rolls-Royce and Honda.

Mr. Guptaa worked on a range of IT Strategy and technology projects including:

• Led a multi-million dollar business-driven IT implementation. Managed IT costs in alignment with industry benchmarks. Defined organizational design and consistent IT processes across organizations.
• Aligned multi-million dollar matrix organizations with business priorities, sequencing and planning this investment to technology-enable primary corporate objectives. Managed the investment portfolio and reported on benchmarks. • Developed and implemented Global IT Strategies that leveraged Business Value Modeling (process and methodology) concept at global level to ensure alignment of IT value with strategic goals.
• Directed 2-year implementations for eProcurement and content management integrated with legacy ERP systems and planned a strategic sourcing initiative to develop consistent global supplier and commodity information.

Shailendrra also held executive positions with Ernst & Young (Cap Gemini), Axis Inc. and Tata Unisys Ltd.

Shailendrra holds Electronics and Electrical Engineering Degree, University of Delhi, India – Delhi College of Engineering.
