John Loomis

Mr. Loomis is a CTO Group, Principal responsible for delivering added value strategic planning and technology services to our clients. John has served the IT community for over 30 years and has been responsible for overseeing very large; multi-million dollar systems projects and has significant experience in IT services, architecture, data analysis, technology development management, IT transformation, manufacturing and e-commerce.

Mr. Loomis leverages his background in PMOs, delivery, process optimization and technology development to deliver superior service to our customers. He is a strong team member, with significant executive management experience who compliments his deep understanding in these areas with executive level strategy and business acumen.

Some of Mr. Loomis’s clients included Compaq, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch. Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank.

Mr. Loomis has worked on a range of IT Strategy and technology projects including:

• Led and managed the design and implementation team of engineers and data analysts. The task consisted of combining 7 separate databases into a single more efficient data-mart.
• Led and managed a team of engineers, data analysts, networking designers, and operational staff. The project consisted of implementing two major web-based financial systems for customer access to their accounts – UNIX and Windows-based.
• Developed an IT vision, IT strategy and detailed work plans needed for supporting a new work creation and tracking system for a major international corporation. The CRM system sat ‘on top’ of 23 disparate and un-linked IT systems providing a common user interface and tracking capability with consistent data flow between each system.

Additionally Mr. Loomis has held CEO, CIO and senior executive positions in software companies that delivered hardware, software application and system management solutions.

Mr. Loomis holds an MBA from Pepperdine University.
